Vernonia Middle and High School is hosting our only home Cross Country meet at Anderson Park this Thursday, October 16th. Anderson Park will be closed to vehicle traffic from 12:30 pm to 6:00 pm. We have asked all of the teams attending to please not park in front of driveways or mailboxes. We have volunteers who will be helping with the parking, and escorting teams into the park. First race (middle school) starts at 3:30 pm. The community may see runners at the park, linear trail, and around the lake. This is a big once a year event for our team. We try and do our best to make it a positive experience for our youth in the community. Please be kind to the runners and cheer them on. Feel free to come out and support our Vernonia Loggers.
